One of NUPATH's main objectives is to see greater unity of homeopaths across Canada. To this end we have:
- achieved a broad-based membership that reflects all the regions of Canada
- placed several regional members on the Board of Directors to give a regional perspective to issues
- established a certification process for practitioners that will be recognized across Canada by the public
- made representations to various provincial and federal task forces and committees looking into health care reform
- played a pivotal role in having the federal government look into the possibility of undertaking a sector study of the alternative and complementary medicine (CAM) field, including homeopathy
- helped to found and establish the Canadian Coalition of Homeopathic Medicine (CCHM) in 2001, which was set up to provide a single voice for homeopathic participation in the federal sector study
