NUPATH Fausta Bottero Homeopathic Scholarship Award
Named in honour of the late Fausta Bottero, a friend of NUPATH and of homeopathy in general, NUPATH's annual Scholarship Award was created to enable needful student members of NUPATH to better afford their homeopathic training.
In existence since 2000, the Scholarship Fund is gradually increasing, allowing NUPATH to increase the amount awarded annually. Currently, three awards of at least $250.00 will be presented to the winning applicants at the Annual General Meeting and Conference. See this site for details about the upcoming Conference and AGM, usually held in the early Fall.
To be eligible you must be:
- an up-to-date student member of NUPATH; and
- enrolled in a study program which would lead to the completion of educational requirements for active membership in NUPATH.
To apply, please send us your full contact information, your name as it reads on your NUPATH membership certificate, and the name of your homeopathic educational institution. You must submit an essay with a maximum of 1,000 words, on why you feel you should be given this award. Sample essays by Stania Melichar and Jennifer Chipman are available for review.
The deadline for applications for this annual award is September 15. The award is adjudicated by the Scholarship Committee, which is comprised of members of the NUPATH Board of Directors.

NUPATH Research and Education Fund
In accordance with its objective to promote homeopathic research and education, NUPATH offers financial assistance to members doing research and/or education.
Up to $500 annually has been allocated for assisting approved projects. Proposals will be selected by a committee of NUPATH Board members.
Objective funding criteria are as follows:
- the applicant(s) must be NUPATH member(s)
- the research topic must be in some way related to homeopathy.
Proposals will be judged on their appropriateness for funding by how well they meet one or more of NUPATH's general objectives.
