Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

The conference was held at the Embassy West Hotel, from 9am-5pm Saturday and Sunday. The Annual General Meeting was scheduled for Saturday evening at 6:30 pm.

CONFERENCE AGENDA
This year's conference featured exciting speakers on a variety of topics, surely expanding your thinking and enhancing your understanding of homeopathy! There were exhibitors, remedy companies, schools, homeopathic software, books, and more!

Saturday, Oct. 13
9:00am to 10:30am NUPATH President Rudi Verspoor talked on Cancer: Have you ever wondered where cancer comes from, why it is so difficult to treat, why it has suddenly emerged in the last 100 years as a scourge of mankind, and what exactly is it? Is it the tumour, or is it something else? And when the tumour is gone, is the cancer gone? Understanding the true nature of cancer is a pre-requisite to successfully treating it.
10:30am to 10:50am Break
10:50am to 12:15pm Rudi Verspoor continued and concluded his talk.
12:15pm to 1:30pm Lunch, door prizes, announcements
1:30pm to 3:00pm A representative from the Federal Government joined a discussion with Rudi Verspoor on the federal government's department of Human Resources Sector Study of Alternative and Complementary Medicine, which includes a national study on homeopathy and homeopaths.
3:00pm to 3:15pm Break
3:15pm to 5:00pm NUPATH Board member Munir Mughal discussed with us the important concept of using Drainage in caring for patients who are fighting cancer. He included remedy pictures and examples from his case files.
Sunday, Oct. 14
9:00am to 9:45am Special Guest - a blast from the past!
9:45am to 10:00am Break
10:15am to 12:15pm Kim Elia, President of Whole Health Now. The essence of cancer is the suppression of your creative energy, and some remedy types (being states of mind) are more susceptible to allowing this suppression to occur. Using Wilhelm Reich's four-beat life cycle, Kim demonstrated how certain remedies descend into a state that provides a breeding ground for cancer. He looked at the role of the chronic miasms and how their simillimums create a breeding ground for cancer.
12:15pm to 1:30pm Lunch and silent auction results
1:30pm to 3:00pm One of the most profound revelations in the nature and treatment of cancer and the destruction of cancerous tumours came from Dr. Raymond Royal Rife in the 1930's. Morris Zubkewych, who has spent years studying Rife's works, largely unknown, shared the results of his research and the connection with homeopathic treatment.
3:00pm to 3:15pm Break
3:15pm to 5:00pm At the 1999 NUPATH Annual Conference Linda Clifford gave us a brief introduction to the fascinating world of live blood cell analysis, a means of illuminating the dynamic dimension of disease. Because the demand for her return was so great, we brought Linda back in order to further explore this diagnostic technique, particularly as it relates to understanding the degeneration of cells as patients manifest pathology, and following its evolution through treatment in the patient.
